Question

Answer

Where does the information in my portfolio come from?

The information comes from Wilco and your public GitHub profile.

Wilco: Quests completed, PR submissions, GitHub repo and more.

GitHub: About me, links.

How can I edit my page?

Page editing is coming soon.

Meanwhile, if you have any information your want to change, please email <[email protected]>

I don't want my page public.

We’re working on adding visibility settings and will add them soon.

Meanwhile, if you want to unlist your page, please contact <[email protected]> with your portfolio URL and we’ll take care of it for you.

How can I change my username?

Currently, there’s no way for you to edit your username on your own. Please contact <[email protected]> from the email you have signed up with, include your portfolio URL and specify the new username.

If that username is taken, we will let you know. If not, we’ll change it for you. Unless it goes against our terms of service, that is.

I have suggestions on how to make the portfolio page better.

Ooooh! We love getting ideas and suggestions from you.

Don’t delay, send us an email to [email protected] and we’ll forward it to our Product team.

Also, feel free to tweet at us (assuming Twitter still works by the time you read this) @trywilco.

How can I use this portfolio?

When we created this feature, this is what we had in mind:

  • Show it to potential employers if you feel that it showcases skills and experience they don’t necessarily know you have.

  • Looking for your first job? Add it to the CV to show them you already have practical experience.

  • Brag about your progress and achievements. You never know who might see it and be impressed.
